Star Wars Uprising 6 and 7 Star Player Rating Update

Star Wars Uprising 6 and 7 Star Player Rating Update

November 9, 2015 By Brandon

Patch 1.1 of Star Wars Uprising introduced a new player rating for pretty much every gear that’s available. For that reason, I decided to do an update of my previous post on the best star wars uprising 7-star gear.

This time, I’m including 6-star as well as 7-star gear and even some accidental Elemental Officer Gear that many received on Imperial Opportunities during the last Sector Battle. This gear is certainly not finalized, but it does prove one thing, the gear that’s coming will wreck your current gear. I’ll start by talking about that and then move on to a comparison of current and relevant gear if it stays in its current state.

Level 5 Elemental Officer Gear

We had a player from our cartel, OrdeR-66, get a pair of elemental officer trousers during the last sector battle whose gear was taken away. That being said after looking through over 300 of the top in-game player’s gear for this post, there are several that are still available.

Elemental Officer Gloves

Some quick calculations from above and we can determine the player rating of a finished lvl 5 Officer Hat and Gloves:

Elemental Officer Hat: 890

Elemental Officer Gloves: 1043

Considering the total player rating of these items at level 5, it’s clear that this gear will trump anything that is available. That being said, Kabam may still make changes to the gear before it’s widely released so be prepared.

Star Wars Uprising Current Level 7 Weapons and Armor

Weapons

Weapons are much closer in PR than they were pre-patch. Whether this is a good thing or not I don’t know; however, it does make more level 5-7 weapons viable.

Armor

Trooper gear is still the best after patch 1.1 but not by much. That being said in their recent letter the Dan’s said:

“Stormtrooper gear is still the best PR, but not in the insane way it used to be and only when paired with the proper weapon. In fact mixing another piece into that gear set (no I won’t say which one) can actually now create a set more powerful set than a vanilla Stormtrooper set.”

So, as I mentioned on the forum there is a secret weapon that will actually boost Stormtrooper gear. Which weapon is that? Your guess is probably as good as mine.

Star Wars Uprising Level 6 Gear Comparison

I managed to get a level 6 version of all current armor in Star Wars Uprising for this comparison. Whether gear is 5-7 or 5-6 does not matter for it’s level 6 PR so alternate versions were not included. One thing to note is that while Smuggler gear gave a good player rating boost before the patch, it’s currently the worst set available.

Thanks, I use this frequently to choose between upgrades. 4* T2 stuff is up there, too, close to 6* T1 stuff, so seeing a comparison of that would also be helpful but I don’t think anyone has enough of it yet.
